This DIY Laundry Refresher will get the stank out of the clothes you leave sitting too long.

I’m the absolute worst about changing the wash to the dryer in a reasonable amount of time. It’s a bad habit that I’ve got to work on, but in the meantime I’m thankful for a super quick DIY that gets the stank out in a speed wash before drying.

INGREDIENTS

+ Glass jar (here’s one I LOVE)

+ Baking soda (the cleaning kind –– aka granulated!)

+ Essential oils of your choice

Mix 20-30 drops of the essential oils with the baking soda in the jar, add straight to the drum of your washer, run a quick cycle and voillllla. It’s like that sitting in the washer for two days straight didn’t even happen.

Try throwing some wool dryer balls in your dryer with some essential oils on them for an extra scent boost, too! Added bonus is that they will help the clothes dry faster, and help reduce static.
